Payment and Funding
Neuro-solutions therapists are all registered providers with
Medicare Australia and are therefore able to provide services,
which can be claimed by compensable bodies, private
health insurance funds and Medicare.
Compensable Bodies
At Neuro-Solutions we regulary see people funded by compensable bodies such as TAC (Transport Accident Commission), DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs), VWA (Victorian Workcover Authority) and the Slow to Recover Program. We invoice compensable bodies directly so that the individual does not need to pay upfront.
Private Health
Insurance Funds
Rebates from private health funds vary depending on the level of cover held by the individual. We advise that you speak directly to your private health fund to find out what services you are covered for.
Medicare
Under the Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC), Medicare rebates are available for a maximum of 5 allied health services per person in a calendar year. These rebates are available to people that have a chronic or complex condition being managed by their GP under an EPC. The individual needs to be referred by their GP.
